Jaxson Deno is a singer/songwriter, producer, mix engineer and arranger with a passion for groovy acoustic tunes that bring out the joy in his listeners. He has started crafting his own original songs with styles akin to Jack Johnson and Damien Rice. His most prominent influences that have inspired many aspects of his music throughout the years have been Ed Sheeran, Bon Iver, and Wilco.
Jaxson is originally from Indianapolis, IN but now operates out of Nashville, TN. He studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and Valencia where he graduated with a B.M. in Contemporary Writing & Production. He was raised in the church, leading worship for middle school, high school, and adult services. Starting in high school and continuing presently, he has performed with his acoustic guitar at many different restaurants, bars, and wedding ceremonies & receptions throguhout the Midwest. Jaxson performs music from his pop, folk and R&B influences along with his own singer/songwritier originals. He implements his own arrangements of these songs with the use of his elaborate loop station, creating additional percussion, bass, guitar, and vocal tracks live in front of the audience.
In early 2011, Jaxson had the privilege to play for the grand opening of the Palladium in Carmel, one of Indiana’s world-class performing arts centers. In February 2020, he released his first single, “Me and You", a track written, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered all by himself.
